Terms + Conditions

By placing your order, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Firstly, thank you for the work. We take great pride and care with all our products. If a problem should arise we will do what we can to resolve it so that you are satisfied.
However, some things are out of our control hence the following terms and conditions:

Installation:

If your quotation includes installation then we have to make certain assumptions, these are as follows:
Parking access will be available outside or near your property.
The area around where the goods will be fitted is unobstructed and of standard construction with no cables or pipes under the relevant area.
The customer is responsible for advising of any placement of pipes and wires, these need to be clearly marked and confirmed to us in writing – we will not be responsible for any damage caused to or resulting from pipes and wires that we have not been made aware of.
The walls into which we need to attach hanging apparatus are in a good condition that allows us to obtain a suitable fixing.
None of the areas or items into which we are installing the goods have any warranties or guarantees that will be invalidated by the installation.
You have removed all ornaments, appliances and other objects in the immediate working area.
Drilling in to tiles is always at customers’ own risk.

Timescale:

We work as closely to our timescales as possible, but these are always approximate as all products are bespoke and made to order. We may be faced with delays out of our control, including, but not limited to: stock issues, strike action, inclement weather, government lockdowns, staff shortage.

Ordering and Payment:

An order has only been placed with us once the requested deposit has been paid – deposit is 50% of the total order amount - unless otherwise stated.
The balance of the order is payable either on collection or upon installation – the final invoice will be issued after installation and needs to be paid promptly.
If customers own measurements are used, these need to be confirmed in writing before ordering, we can accept no responsibility for incorrect measurements once the order is placed.
For made to measure items the customer can cancel the order up to 24 hours after the order has been placed. Any cancellations must be made in writing. After this date your deposit will be non-refundable, and the balance will be payable.

Product Disclaimers:

Fabric is bought to order and is non-returnable – unless faulty. We recommend customers to order a sample of fabric before purchasing. Samples are intended as a representation of colour and texture only.
Fabric stock/batch variations can occur. If this is important, we recommend requesting a current ‘stock’ cutting when ordering imminently – stock of fabric can change quickly.
If fabric is being sent directly to the customer, please inspect carefully before cutting and advise us immediately if there are any faults or discrepancies. Once cut, we cannot accept any responsibility for any faults or discrepancies.
If a fabric is supplied by the customer to us, any faults or discrepancies will have to be raised by the customer.
Natural fabric will often have small slubs within the weave. This is not considered a fault, but a part of the nature of the fabric.
Fabric can fade or discolour. Fabric can shrink and move over time.
Creasing is likely in fabric – most creasing drops over time. Linen fabrics naturally crease.
Velvet fabric may incur pressure marking.
Check patterned fabrics often move and may run off.
Not all patterned fabrics are printed straight and may run off.
Fabrics are pattern matched where possible, due to the nature of some fabric the pattern may run off.
Wallpaper is non-refundable unless faulty.
An advised wastage allowance of 10-20% should be made when calculating the amount of wallpaper needed.
Roman blinds are not a rigid product, fabric can move. Some fabrics will sit differently from others e.g. velvet has a lot of movement, pleats are not as defined.
If blackout lining is used, this does not block 100% of the light - there will always be light around the edges of blinds and where layers are sewn together.
All blinds have child safety measures installed – please familiarise yourself with these features, including how they clip back together - this is not a fault. We recommend coming into the shop to look at these safety devices on our blinds or calling us for advice if needed.
From time to time we may use photos of our products from our installations on our website and social media – please let us know if you would prefer not to have your products used.

GUARANTEE

We guarantee all products sold to you will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of twelve months.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
